The Fall Showcase goes off with a Bang!   This years Fall Showcase had over 100 players from around the 5 state area in participation.  The event started at 10am and went until 4pm in Green Isle MN.  Coaches from Wisconsin Stout, St. John's, Kansas Weislian, Holy Cross at Notre Dame, and Wisconsin Superior were in attendance to watch this years batch of players.

MCB and Maxbat have combined to create Team Maxbat in 2010.  Players who are selected to this Team will either be invited to play on one of our National Tourney teams or be invited to Florida in December.  You can make this team three ways.  By recommendation from coaches, a scouts recommendation or a player attends to a scheduled showcase/tryout.  Check the above links for more information.  The longer you wait the chances you might be left out increase.  Sixty five percent of the players who attended last years event in Florida are now commited to play baseball at colleges throughout the USA.

Last year was also the first year of the Mr Baseball Competition.  Garrett Harrison from Minnesota was crowned the 2010 Champion.

We have organized and run over 65 Wood Bat Tourneys throughout the midwest over the past 10 years.  In 2010 Maxbat has jumped on board as our primary sponsor for the Minnesota Tourneys (not 14's).  Fitzgeralds Sports has also jumped on board in 2010 to supply quality baseballs for all of our events.  Typically these tournaments are in or near a metropolitan area along with nearby colleges & universities.  We believe this makes your experience much more enjoyable with a good selection of hotels and local attractions nearby as well.  We hold our Tourneys on collegiate fields that have been personally inspected by members of our organization to assure their playing condition and quality.   Finally, we work hard to assure you of a full weekend of baseball at each Tourney.  The combination of great collegiate fields, plenty of games and an enjoyable metropolitan area make for truly fun weekends of baseball!
