Pat Hallahan has agreed to head back to the college coaching ranks as an assistant at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato Minnesota.  Hallahan started MCB in 1999 and along with our sponsor XBAT is dedicated to provide baseball instruction, Showcases, and Tourneys for those high school and college baseball players looking to excel at the next level of competition.  Over the years we have created many opportunities for State and National competition with players from all over the Midwest and greater U.S.  This year MCB have expanded into player developement with the edition Team Xbat and Florida Winter Workouts and Minnesota Winter Workout programs.  Team Xbat has been developed to enhance player developement across the United States.  Please take your time viewing the site.  I think all your questions will be answered as far as tourneys. camps, showcases, and winter workout programs.

 This past week we held our first Combine for Underclassmen in the state of Minnesota.  Players from all over the state and Metro came to Green Isle to participate in the combine.  There were players from Dassel Cokato, Victoria, Waconia, Eden Prairie, Chaska, Norwood Young America, Mound, Minnetonka, the Twin Cities area, and Hutchinson.  Ages ranged from 12 to 17 and the talent level was very impressive.  Coaches who worked the camp represented MCB, Bethany Lutheran College, Minnesota State University, Purdue, and the Mankato Sports Institute.  The days events covered the entire game of baseball including a hitting lesson from Hall of Fame coach Dean Bowyer.  A morning session of skills testing was followed by 5 individual mini-clinics that covered fielding, hitting, pitching, catching, the 60yard dash, and defensive set-ups.
